SCHOOL CURRICULUM

Sacred Heart Academy of Pasig plays a vital role in educating the youth to contribute to shaping the country's future. We adhere to the belief that it is the school's responsibility to empower the youth with adequate knowledge, skills, behavior and values through Christian education that fosters spiritual enlightenment, social responsibility, intellectual excellence and accountability to self and their community.

Sacred Heart Academy of Pasig still adopts the mandated K to 12 CURRICULUM following the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELC) set by the Department of Education for school year 2020-2021 to address the challenges of the current pandemic and to ensure education continuity through the curriculum dimension. The MELCs will enable the school to focus the instruction on the most essential and indispensable competencies that our learners must acquire as we anticipate challenges in the learning delivery considering our two (2) modalities which are Distance Learning and Offline Learning.

SHAP offers a competitive Grade School to Senior High Program enriched with meaningful concepts and innovative online teaching styles geared towards coping with the new normal set up in education.

Subject integration is emphasized through interdisciplinary modes of progressive delivery to develop the child's ability to transfer and apply their learning to real world situations. This will enable children to acquire and use basic knowledge and skills through continuity and consistency in all the content areas and to develop positive attitudes for continued successful learning. Values integration across curriculum requires us to properly integrate values into our teaching practice and educational setting anchored to SHAP's commitment to nurturing students towards becoming God-fearing and value-oriented individuals.
